I received a custom ordered bag  for a friends surprise birthday. We wanted something funky and chose to incorporate one of my earlier designs I used on a crosss-body pouch . This bag is really playful and has a lovely retro feel to it.

 It's made from a beautiful chocolate brown buffalo leather.

Leather pouches

I've become increasingly aware of just how much leather is discarded daily in the footwear, automobile and furniture industry. I managed to get a few bags full of colourful leather that will be perfect for my bags!

I've used these off-cuts in the designs of my leather pouches. Approximately 17x 11cm, these pouches are ideal for organising and storing cell phones; make-up; cards and money...












 

Sample bags

I was recently asked to make up some samples of my 100% hand stitched bags for a customer with an on line shop. Here are a few pictures of some of the bags. Hand stitching is very labour intensive but  time honoured methods produce time honoured products.
